Gopal Singh, CMD of Coal India says “India’s coal plants are running at 3-year high capacity as hydro and nuclear output falls. September has been a very good month for the company. Demand from coal-based power plants has gone up.We are sitting on coal inventory of 34 million tonnes currently.Company’s output for September is at 12 percent and dispatches at 17 percent.”
When Asked about wage issues, he said negotiations with regards to wage settlement are in the final round.But what are settlements, Mr. Singh? Workers are opposing and still, they have to be agreed on with your conditions.
